“And the winners are…”The votes have been tabulated and we are now officially showcasing the 25 winners that will grace the pages of the TMBRN/TM Info Keepsake Calendar of 2009. You can see the 13 first place winners followed by the 12 secondary winners below. We want to send our warmest and sincerest congratulations to all the winners but, most especially, we want to thank all TM owners and breeders for taking the time to make this endeavour a success. OUR TWENTY FIVE CALENDAR CONTEST WINNERS
At the same time that we were announcing the 2009 calendar winners, it was brought to our attention that one of the dogs selected to the calendar, the second highest vote-getter Ogurr, had suddenly and tragically passed away. A request was sent to us by Ogurr's owner asking if we would consider allowing the honor of cover dog be given over to Ogurr. Since the cover winning dog Udaipour (the dog that received the most votes) and Ogurr are owned by the same person and no outcome from the other winning dogs is affected, we have given our approval.
The volunteers from the TMBRN/TM Info site wish to send our sincerest condolences on the passing of Ogurr Toundra Bohemia Sirague.

Don't despair! The volunteers of the TMBRN/TM Info have been so encouraged by your participation and our first contest results that we just couldn't wait to let you know that we plan to hold the 2 nd Annual International Photo Contest in preparation for the 2010 Tibetan Mastiff Keepsake Calendar.
We had such an enthusiastic response to our first call for pictures that we'll be expanding the number of photos you can enter to 5 next time around. That means more chances to win! While we will not accept submissions of photographs that have previously won, we'd like to encourage you to think about re-submitting those pictures that didn't make the calendar this year.

What a super endorsement and a wonderful way for all of us to share in our Tibetan Mastiff passion. We do hope that this calendar has encouraged you to take more photos of your Tibetan Mastiff so we're letting you know ahead of time in preparation for our next contest. While the popular vote was a fun way to introduce the calendar choices this year, we are thinking of appointing a panel of impartial judges next year to help us decide winning photographs. Keep the calendar in mind when you are photographing your dog throughout the year as special consideration will be given to seasonal photographs.
